Registered Nurse - CVOR

• Location: Anchorage, AK

• Schedule / Job Type: Full-time, Travel, Days shifts, 13-week assignment

• Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide specialized cardiovascular operating room nursing care in a busy hospital setting
  • Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes during CVOR procedures
  • Assist with pre-operative prep, intra-operative support, and post-operative care for cardiac surgery patients
  • Maintain sterile techniques and hospital protocols throughout all procedures
  • Document patient care activities accurately and thoroughly
  • Respond swiftly to patient needs and assist in emergent situations as required

• Required Qualifications:

  • Valid and permanent RN license from the state of Alaska
  • At least 2 years of experience in cardiovascular surgery or CVOR nursing
  • Strong knowledge of cardiac procedures and perioperative nursing care
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to work independently and handle high-pressure situations

• Preferred Experience / Skills:

  • Previous travel nursing experience preferred
  • Familiarity with hospital surgical protocols and electronic medical records systems
