Key Responsibilities
• Provide patient care in the IMC, PCU, or Stepdown units following physician orders and facility protocols.
• Monitor patient vitals and status, escalating concerns as needed.
• Collaborate with healthcare team to develop and implement care plans.
• Document patient information accurately in electronic medical records.
• Ensure safe and effective delivery of care during 12-hour day shifts.
• Adhere to hospital policies, including holiday rotation and volunteering for weekend assignments.
Required Qualifications
• Valid South Carolina or Compact RN license in hand prior to start.
• Minimum of 1 year of recent relevant nursing experience.
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications.
• Ability to float within scope to match facility needs.
• Willingness to work every other weekend and participate in holiday rotation.
Preferred Experience / Skills
• Experience in med-surg, IMC, PCU, or stepdown units.
• NIHSS certification is a plus.
• Familiarity with Epic electronic charting system.
