Occupational Therapy Assistant Location: Charlottesville, VA Schedule: Days Job Type: Contract We are seeking a skilled Occupational Therapy Assistant to join our team on a 13-week contract basis. Key Responsibilities: • Provide occupational therapy services to clients under the supervision of a licensed occupational therapist • Conduct assessments, develop and implement treatment plans, and provide interventions to promote client independence and well-being • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care and achieve client goals • Maintain accurate and detailed records of client progress and treatment plans • Adhere to professional standards and regulations, including HIPAA and OSHA guidelines Required Qualifications: • Associate's degree in Occupational Therapy Assistant Studies from a CAA-accredited program • Current certification as an Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) in the state of employment • Strong communication and interpersonal skills • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks as needed If you are a motivated and compassionate OTAS looking for a new challenge, we encourage you to apply.
