Key Responsibilities

• Provide bedside care to adult patients in the IMC/PCU/Stepdown unit, including monitoring vital signs, administering medications, and managing IV drips.
• Perform patient assessments and document findings accurately in the electronic medical record system.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Manage acute cardiac conditions, including post-procedure monitoring and complex patient needs.
• Float between units as needed, supporting other departments of the facility.
• Ensure compliance with hospital protocols and safety standards.

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license on file at the time of submission.
• AHA BLS and ACLS certifications.
• NIHSS certification required prior to start date.
• Minimum of 1 year of recent tele/acute inpatient nursing experience.
• Experience with insulin and cardiac drips, starting IVs, and post-cardiac cath care.
• Epic EMR experience within the past 2 years.
• Reliable transportation, as public transit is not accessible.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Previous experience working in a Level 2 Trauma or teaching facility.
• Experience with telemetry monitoring and complex cardiac patients.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
