Registered Nurse - Emergency Room
Location: Hermiston, OR
Schedule / Job Type: Full-time, 13-week contract, night shifts
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide emergency nursing care to both adult and pediatric patients in a hospital setting
- Collaborate with a team of nurses and a full-time hospitalist physician to deliver high-quality care
- Work three 12-hour night shifts per week, including every other weekend
- Function independently with minimal supervision in a modern, rural hospital environment
- Maintain accurate documentation and follow clinical protocols in fast-paced emergency scenarios
Required Qualifications:
- Valid registered nurse (RN) license
- ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications
- Minimum of three years of nursing experience in an emergency or acute care setting
- Ability to work effectively with minimal direction or supervision
Preferred Experience / Skills:
- Experience working in a rural healthcare environment
- Strong critical thinking and excellent communication skills
