Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a busy hospital setting with a focus on medical-surgical unit.
• Collaborate with healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Monitor patient conditions, administer medications, and document care activities accurately.
• Ensure compliance with hospital protocols and safety standards.
• Assist with patient education and discharge planning as needed.
• Adhere to unit policies including team nursing model and holiday coverage requirements.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of recent acute care RN experience in a hospital setting.
• Valid and current RN license in accordance with NLC guidelines.
• Experience in a Level I Trauma center preferred.
• Proven ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
• Ability to handle a 1:6/7 nurse-to-patient ratio and team nursing model.
• Flexibility to work as needed on weekends and holidays.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in a Level I Trauma Center or similar large hospital environment.
• Strong assessment and critical thinking skills.
• Knowledge of trauma protocols and acute care procedures.
