Key Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care to patients of all ages, from infants to elderly, including after-hours urgent and emergent clinics.
• Perform nursing assessments, develop care plans in coordination with primary care providers, and implement therapeutic measures within scope of practice.
• Monitor patient conditions, recognize life-threatening situations, and respond quickly to ensure patient safety.
• Administer medications, operate specialized medical equipment, and maintain accurate documentation of patient care and interventions.
• Conduct triage for non-routine appointments, provide health advice, and direct patients to appropriate care levels.
• Support laboratory, radiology, and respiratory therapy functions, including phlebotomy, pulmonary testing, EKGs, and radiograph processing.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Alaska nursing license active at the time of application.
• Current flu vaccination.
• Ability to work independently and make critical decisions quickly.
• Strong organizational skills to coordinate patient care and maintain safety standards.
• Basic knowledge of healthcare procedures and protocols.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• X-ray experience preferred but not required.
• Prior experience in outpatient or ambulatory care settings.
• Experience with electronic health records and radiology systems.
