Full-time, rotating shifts, 36 hours per week
Key Responsibilities
- Provide specialized critical care nursing within the Intensive Care Unit (ICU).
- Perform various procedures required for ICU patients, utilizing equipment such as Meditech.
- Collaborate with healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Float to other critical care and step-down units as needed, ensuring continuity of care.
- Adhere to professional dress code, wearing scrubs during shifts.
Required Qualifications
- Hawaii state registered nurse license (must be obtained prior to start, if not currently licensed).
- Minimum of 3 years ICU experience.
- Valid BLS and ACLS certifications.
- NIHSS certification (submit current certification or complete a 45-minute online class during orientation).
- Flexibility to work day or night shifts, with 12-hour shifts expected.
- Ability to work 36 hours per week, including call shifts as scheduled.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience working with Meditech electronic medical record system.
- Ability to float across various critical care and step-down units.
