Key Responsibilities
- Provide specialized nursing care to oncology patients, including leukemia, lymphoma, multiple myeloma, and hematology/oncology conditions
- Administer blood products, chemotherapy, and other medications, ensuring patient safety and comfort
- Assist with procedures such as chest tube care, tracheostomy care, vascular access device management, and wound vac applications
- Monitor and manage patients undergoing clinical trials, CAR-T therapy, stem cell transplants, and post-transplant care
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to meet patient needs and maintain high standards of care
- Document patient conditions and treatments accurately in compliance with hospital protocols
Required Qualifications
- Active nursing license in the relevant province (non-Swedish facilities eligible for travel contracts if separated for ?3 months; Swedish facilities require active compact license)
- Minimum of 2 years experience in oncology nursing with OCN certification (REQUIRED)
- BLS and ONS/ONCC certifications (REQUIRED)
- Experience with blood products, chemotherapy, and advanced oncology procedures
- Ability to float to meet unit needs as required
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience in research or clinical trials, including CART and stem cell transplant procedures
- Familiarity with medical-surgical oncology patient care and complex procedures such as PICC lines and vascular device management
