Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to residents in long-term care and skilled nursing facilities.
- Monitor, assess, and document patient conditions and progress.
- Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and facility policies.
- Collaborate with medical teams to develop and update care plans.
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and safety protocols.
- Educate patients and families regarding health management and discharge planning.
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in the State of New Mexico.
- Proven experience in long-term care (LTC) or skilled nursing facilities.
- Strong clinical assessment and documentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- CPR certification preferred.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience working with elderly or disabled populations.
- Knowledge of state and federal regulatory requirements for LTC/SNF.
- Bilingual abilities are a plus but not required.
