Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to residents in long-term care or skilled nursing facilities
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Monitor residents' health status and document changes accordingly
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure quality patient care
- Assist with daily living activities and support resident comfort and safety
Required Qualifications
- Valid LVN or LPN license in the state of New Mexico
- Proven experience working in long-term care or skilled nursing facilities
- Strong understanding of nursing practices and procedures
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to follow detailed care plans and documentation protocols
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience in a SNF or LTC environment
- Bilingual abilities are a plus
- Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems
