Key Responsibilities
- Provide skilled nursing care to residents in long-term care or skilled nursing facilities.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Monitor patient health status and document observations accurately.
- Assist with daily living activities and ensure resident comfort and safety.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to meet residents’ care needs.
- Follow facility protocols and maintain compliance with healthcare regulations.
Required Qualifications
- Valid LVN (Licensed Vocational Nurse) or LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse) license in North Carolina.
- Up-to-date CPR and First Aid certifications.
- Previous experience in LTC or SNF settings preferred.
- Ability to perform assessments and provide quality patient care.
- Strong communication and documentation skills.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience working with elderly or geriatric populations.
- Knowledge of electronic health record (EHR) systems.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
