Key Responsibilities
- Provide quality nursing care to residents in a long-term care or skilled nursing facility setting.
- Monitor and document patient vital signs, symptoms, and progress.
- Administer medications and treatments accurately according to care plans.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure resident safety and well-being.
- Maintain compliance with all regulatory and facility policies.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license.
- Prior experience working in long-term care (LTC) or skilled nursing facilities (SNF).
- Ability to accurately assess and document patient conditions.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Current CPR and first aid certification.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with electronic medical records systems.
- Knowledge of geriatric care practices.
- Ability to handle multiple residents and prioritize care needs efficiently.
