Key Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care to residents in long-term care or skilled nursing facility settings.
- Monitor patient health and record vital signs and progress notes.
- Assist with medication administration and treatment procedures.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure quality patient care.
- Respond to residents' needs and communicate effectively with family members and staff.
- Maintain compliance with all applicable healthcare regulations and facility policies.
Required Qualifications
- Valid LVN (Licensed Vocational Nurse) or LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse) license in the state of New Mexico.
- Current CPR/BLS certification.
- Ability to work night shifts and handle a fast-paced healthcare environment.
- Strong communication and patient care skills.
- Prior experience in long-term care (LTC) or skilled nursing facilities preferred.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience working night shifts in a skilled nursing or LTC setting.
- Knowledge of healthcare regulations and documentation standards.
