Key Responsibilities
- Provide speech therapy services to residents in a 100-bed skilled nursing facility.
- Assess patient needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Implement therapy sessions and monitor patient progress.
- Collaborate with healthcare team to ensure comprehensive care.
- Document patient evaluations and therapy outcomes accurately.
Required Qualifications
- Licensed or eligible for licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist in Alabama.
- Professional certification as an SLP.
- Strong communication and patient care skills.
- Experience working in a skilled nursing facility is preferred.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Previous experience in a long-term care or skilled nursing environment.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented setting.
