Key Responsibilities

• Perform pre-procedure assessments including 12-lead EKGs and starting IVs.
• Manage post-procedure care, including airway management and recovery of conscious sedation and monitored anesthesia.
• Interpret and manage dysrhythmias during procedures.
• Assist with equipment setup such as balloon dilators, bronchoscopy carts, disposable grounding pads, forceps, and polyp snares.
• Administer medications such as opioid analgesics and Versed.
• Support procedures including bronchoscopy, colonoscopy, EBUS, and EGD, and handle specimen labeling and collection.

Required Qualifications

• MO or compact license (must be active at time of submission).
• Minimum of 2 years of endoscopy experience.
• ACLS and BLS certifications.
• Skills in pre- and post-procedure patient management and dysrhythmia interpretation.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with endoscopy equipment like balloon dilators and bronchoscopy supplies.
• Administration of conscious sedation and monitoring during procedures.
• Familiarity with procedures such as bronchoscopy, colonoscopy, EBUS, and EGD.
• Knowledge of specimen handling and labeling.
