Key Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of laboratory tests and procedures to analyze patient specimens.
• Operate and maintain laboratory instruments and equipment, ensuring accuracy and quality standards.
• Interpret test results and report findings to healthcare providers in a timely manner.
• Follow safety protocols and comply with regulatory guidelines for clinical laboratory operations.
• Document all testing procedures and maintain detailed, accurate records.
• Assist with quality control and participate in calibration and maintenance of lab equipment.

Required Qualifications

• Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) certification or state licensure as a Clinical Laboratory Scientist.
• Proven experience in a clinical laboratory setting.
• Knowledge of laboratory testing methodologies, safety practices, and quality assurance.
• Ability to operate laboratory instruments and analyze complex data.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working night shifts in a clinical laboratory.
• Familiarity with laboratory information systems (LIS).
• Strong communication skills and ability to work independently.
