Key Responsibilities
- Administer basic nursing care to residents in a long-term care or skilled nursing facility
- Monitor and record patient conditions and report updates to healthcare teams
- Assist with daily living activities and coordinate patient care plans
- Follow established protocols to ensure resident safety and comfort
- Maintain accurate documentation of care provided
Required Qualifications
- Valid and current LVN or LPN license in the state of New Mexico
- Basic life support (BLS) certification
- Prior experience in LTC or SNF settings preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a healthcare team
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Previous experience working in a skilled nursing facility or long-term care environment
- Knowledge of documentation and electronic health records (EHR) systems
