Key Responsibilities
- Provide basic nursing care to patients in a long-term care or skilled nursing setting
- Monitor patient health and vital signs, and document observations accurately
- Assist with patient activities of daily living (ADLs) and comfort needs
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers
- Collaborate with nursing team to develop and implement patient care plans
- Ensure compliance with all safety, health, and facility policies
Required Qualifications
- Valid LVN or LPN license in the state of New Mexico
- Current CPR certification
- Previous experience working in a long-term care or skilled nursing facility preferred
- Ability to provide compassionate and patient-centered care
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with electronic health records (EHR) systems
- Knowledge of long-term care regulations and quality standards
