Key Responsibilities
- Assist licensed physical therapists in implementing patient treatment plans.
- Provide therapeutic interventions to improve mobility and manage pain.
- Monitor and document patient progress accurately.
- Assist in preparing treatment areas and maintaining equipment.
- Educate patients and families on therapeutic exercises and home care routines.
- Ensure adherence to safety and infection control protocols.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Physical Therapy Assistant license or certification.
- Proven experience assisting in physical therapy settings.
- Strong understanding of therapeutic techniques and patient care.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with orthopedic or pediatric patients.
- Knowledge of electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
