Key Responsibilities
- Provide specialized nursing care to patients in the intensive care unit (ICU)
- Monitor patient vital signs and respond to acute changes in condition
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to develop and implement patient care plans
- Document patient assessments, interventions, and progress accurately
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and safety protocols
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in the state of Illinois
- Proven experience in ICU nursing or critical care settings
- Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
- Excellent communication and patient care skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Preferred Experience / Skills
- ACLS certification
- BLS certification
- Prior experience with advanced monitoring equipment
