X-ray / Radiology Technician

Schedule / Job Type
Full-time, Night shifts, 12.5-hour shifts; Saturday to Monday, 6:30 PM – 7:00 AM
Key Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic radiology procedures in a high-acuity hospital setting.
- Operate X-ray equipment across four attached buildings, ensuring high-quality imaging.
- Utilize computer systems to document patient testing and monitor performance data.
- Adhere to hospital safety and quality standards, maintaining compliance with licensing requirements.
- Attend a two-day orientation and participate in ongoing training to ensure competency.
- Provide exceptional patient care while supporting imaging department operations.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year recent radiology tech experience in a hospital environment.
- Graduate of a two-year accredited Radiology Technology program.
- Ability to operate computer systems for patient testing and data retrieval.
- Valid Radiologic Technologist license issued by the Kansas Board of Healing Arts (KSBHA).
- Current BLS and ARRT certification.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience working in a multi-building hospital setting.
- Comfortable working rotating shifts including weekends and holidays.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills.
