Key Responsibilities
- Provide patient care in the IMC/PCU/Stepdown units, floating as needed to various stepdown and PCU areas.
- Support patient recovery and monitor vital signs, ensuring safety and comfort.
- Float within units of equivalent or lower acuity levels, and across multiple hospital campuses if required.
- Perform IV starts and maintain competency in telephonic monitoring and other clinical skills.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure quality patient care.
- Adhere to hospital protocols and safety procedures.
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in the state of Ohio.
- Minimum of 1 year of recent acute care nursing experience.
- Current BLS certification.
- ACLS certification preferred.
- Skilled in IV starts and telephonic monitoring.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience working in IMC, PCU, or stepdown units.
- Flexibility to float across different units and hospital campuses.
- Strong clinical skills with the ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment.
