Registered Nurse - ICU
Location: Austin, TX
Schedule / Job Type: Contract, 13 weeks, Night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
Key Responsibilities:

• Provide advanced nursing care to critically ill patients in the ICU setting.
• Monitor patient vital signs, cardiac rhythms, and hemodynamics using GE bedside monitors and other specialized equipment.
• Administer titratable drips, medications, and therapies, including CRRT and SLED procedures.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Perform procedures such as central line and chest tube insertions, intubations, and tracheostomies.
• Document patient care accurately and thoroughly in Meditech or relevant electronic health records system.
  Required Qualifications:
• Valid registered nurse licensure with appropriate state licensing.
• Experience with cardiac monitoring and rhythms.
• Knowledge of titratable drips and hemodynamic monitoring.
• Experience caring for respiratory patients, including vents, BiPAP, trachs, and airvo.
• Ability to work night shifts in a fast-paced ICU environment.
  Preferred Experience / Skills:
• Experience with CRRT and SLED therapies.
• Prior ICU experience, particularly in critical care units with similar patient profiles.
• Strong teamwork and adaptability skills.
• Familiarity with GE bedside monitors, Alaris IV pumps, and Pyxis systems.
