Schedule / Job Type
- Full-time, night shift (4x10-hour days, Monday–Thursday, 8:00 PM–6:30 AM) with potential flexibility for additional days
Key Responsibilities
- Perform pediatric ultrasound examinations in a hospital setting
- Conduct specialized scans including NEC, TCD, spine, liver Doppler, renal Doppler, transplants, extremity venous Doppler, and neonatal head scans
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of procedures
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols and patient care standards
- Rotate within scope to meet departmental needs, including on-call when required (no call expected for this position)
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years dedicated pediatric ultrasound experience
- Graduated from an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography program
- ARDMS or ARRT certification required
- BLS certification required
- Pediatric hospital experience preferred
- Previous charge experience required
- Valid SC ultrasound licensure not required
- Ability to work independently and handle multiple cases efficiently
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with liver transplant and neonatal head ultrasounds
- Familiarity with Pediatric NEC, TCD, pyloric stenosis, appendicitis imaging
- Experience working in teaching or magnet hospitals
