Key Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care for patients undergoing cardiac and angio procedures, including admission, recovery, outpatient TEE, and cardioversion in the Cath lab recovery area.
- Monitor and assist patients throughout procedures, ensuring safety and comfort.
- Document procedures and patient responses using Epic EMR and manage medication systems such as Pyxis.
- Collaborate with a second RN to provide comprehensive care in a 5-bay recovery setting.
- Follow unit-specific training and orientation protocols to ensure quality patient care.
Required Qualifications
- Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of nursing experience.
- BLS and ACLS certifications.
- Proficiency with Epic EMR and medication management systems such as Pyxis.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience working in a Cardiac Cath Lab or electrophysiology (EP) setting.
- Familiarity with procedures such as TEE and cardioversion.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
