Key Responsibilities

• Provide age-specific, direct patient care in the Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU).
• Utilize the Nursing Process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• Follow departmental and specialty-specific standards of patient care.
• Assume leadership responsibilities, including delegation of tasks to other healthcare team members.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable state and federal healthcare regulations and policies.
• Maintain active certification in ACLS, BLS, and PALS (or ENPC) prior to contract start; complete any required courses if necessary during orientation.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Active ACLS, BLS, and PALS (or ENPC) certifications.
• Ability to deliver quality patient care within the PACU setting.
• Strong understanding of the Nursing Process and patient safety standards.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Previous experience in PACU or perioperative nursing.
• Leadership experience or ability to delegate effectively.
• Knowledge of state and federal healthcare regulations.
