Key Responsibilities
- Provide patient care on a 3x12-hour night shift (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM).
- Monitor telemetry patients, ensuring continuous and accurate observation.
- Administer IV therapy, medications, and perform lab testing as needed.
- Educate patients on their conditions and post-discharge care instructions.
- Float within units of equivalent or lower acuity levels to support hospital staffing needs.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse license.
- Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience.
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and IV therapy.
- Ability to pass telemetry monitoring assessment.
- Skilled in general nursing tasks including IV starts, labs, medication administration, and patient education.
- Experience with electronic health record systems, such as Epic.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior telemetry experience.
- Proficiency with electronic health records, specifically Epic.
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
