Key Responsibilities

• Assist licensed occupational therapists in providing therapy services to patients.
• Implement treatment plans and therapeutic activities to support patient recovery and independence.
• Monitor and document patient progress according to established protocols.
• Collaborate with care teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Maintain a clean and safe treatment environment.

Required Qualifications

• Certification as an Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) from an accredited program.
• Valid state licensure or registration as required by Maryland.
• Previous experience assisting in occupational therapy preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in a healthcare or outpatient therapy setting.
• Knowledge of therapy documentation and electronic health record systems.
