Job Title

• Physical Therapy Assistant

• Florence, SC

Schedule / Job Type

• Full-time, Days shift, 8:00 am – 4:30 pm, Monday through Friday, possibly one weekend per month, no on-call required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide therapeutic assistance to patients in inpatient rehab settings under supervision
• Assist with treatment plans and deliver patient care as directed by the physical therapist
• Support patient progress and document outcomes in accordance with facility protocols
• Work collaboratively within a hospital-based inpatient rehabilitation team
• Float within scope if necessary, across similar units or facilities (note: this role does not require floating)
• May be scheduled with a block schedule, accommodating the facility's operational needs

Required Qualifications

• South Carolina Physical Therapist Assistant license
• BLS certification (Basic Life Support)
• Open to new graduates with fieldwork experience in inpatient rehab settings

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior inpatient rehabilitation experience preferred but not required
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
• Ability to adapt to a hospital environment
