Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to residents in a long-term care or skilled nursing facility setting
- Monitor patient health and record vital signs and medical histories
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to develop and update care plans
- Ensure compliance with all healthcare regulations and facility policies
- Educate residents and their families regarding health conditions and care plans
Required Qualifications
- Current and valid RN license in the state of New Mexico
- Proven experience working in LTC or SNF environments
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
- Basic life support (BLS) certification
- Knowledge of healthcare regulations and safety standards
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience working night shift in a long-term care or skilled nursing setting
- Excellent communication and bedside manner
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
