Job Title
• Registered Nurse - Labor and Delivery

Schedule / Job Type
• Full-time, Contract – Nights

Key Responsibilities
• Provide comprehensive nursing care to women during labor, delivery, and postpartum periods in a busy Level III Obstetrical Unit.
• Assist with approximately 400+ births during peak seasons, ensuring quality patient care and safety.
• Collaborate with a team of green staff, offering guidance and support to ensure smooth unit operations.
• Rapidly adapt to the unit’s pace and protocols, including charting in EPIC electronic health records.
• Participate in the unit’s orientation program, beginning with three days of initial training.
• Float between labor/delivery and postpartum units as needed based on patient care demands.

Required Qualifications
• 2+ years of experience in Labor & Delivery and Postpartum nursing.
• Valid and active Registered Nurse license.
• ACLS and AWHONN Intermediate certifications.
• BCLS certification.
• Willingness to float within unit as needed.

Preferred Experience / Skills
• Experience working in a Level III Obstetrical Unit.
• Ability to start quickly in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
