Key Responsibilities
• Provide dosimetry services at a multi-site radiation oncology clinic, ensuring accurate treatment planning and delivery.
• Collaborate with radiation oncologists, physicists, and therapists to develop and implement patient-specific radiation treatment plans.
• Assist with treatment site simulation, contouring, and dose calculations using Pinnacle and Eclipse planning systems.
• Float between two regional clinics, providing coverage and support for treatments on Varian linacs and True Beam systems.
• Adhere to radiation safety protocols and maintain compliance with external beam therapy standards.
• Support the treatment team in managing patient flow and safety procedures, including ARS and radiation safety measures.

Required Qualifications
• ARRT certification in Radiation Therapy or Dosimetry.
• BLS certification.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a clinical radiation oncology setting.
• Experience with CT simulation, image guidance, and dose calculation.
• Proficiency with treatment planning software such as Pinnacle and Eclipse.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, following strict safety and procedural guidelines.

Preferred Experience / Skills
• Prior experience working in adult acute care settings.
• Knowledge of Varian and Siemens radiation systems.
• Experience with custom molds, shield design, and beam modification.
• Ability to float between multiple clinics and adapt to changing workflows.

Additional Notes
• No orientation or dimensions training required; can start directly at the clinic.
• Shifts may vary slightly, including some days with 9am-6pm hours.
• Must be comfortable floating between clinics and working as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
• Holiday schedule includes working the Sunday before Thanksgiving and Christmas, with the clinic closed on the following Friday.
• No call requirements; occasional floating to nearby clinics may be needed in Wilmington, NC.
