Key Responsibilities

• Perform adult and pediatric echocardiograms, including bubble studies, contrast imaging, M-Mode, pharmacologic stress tests, portable studies, TEE, and treadmill stress echocardiograms.
• Operate and troubleshoot ultrasound equipment, ensuring high-quality imaging for diagnostic purposes.
• Adhere to safety and isolation protocols, providing patient care in ICU and ED settings when required.
• Collaborate with medical team to ensure accurate and thorough cardiac imaging assessments.
• Maintain proper documentation and charting using Cerner or equivalent systems.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years' echocardiography experience, including adult and pediatric studies.
• ARDMS certification in echocardiography.
• BLS certification.
• RDCS certification required.
• Ability to perform specialized procedures such as contrast imaging, TEE, and pharmacologic stress echo.
• Siemens experience preferred.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in a Level II Trauma hospital setting.
• Familiarity with hospital safety protocols such as isolation precautions.
• Comfortable floating within scope to meet departmental needs.
