Key Responsibilities
- Provide specialized nursing care in the Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) environment.
- Assist with cardiovascular surgical procedures, ensuring patient safety and optimal outcomes.
- Collaborate with the surgical team to maintain sterile field and proper equipment use.
- Monitor patient condition pre, intra, and post-operation, documenting findings accurately.
- Adhere to hospital protocols, safety procedures, and infection control standards.
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in state of Texas or ability to obtain.
- Minimum of 1 year of recent cardiovascular surgical nursing experience.
- Knowledge of CVOR equipment, protocols, and sterile techniques.
- Ability to work dayshift hours, starting early mornings.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior travel nursing experience preferred.
- Strong communication and team collaboration skills.
- Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced surgical environment.
