Key Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care to patients undergoing cardiac cath, vascular, EP, and congenital procedures in a specialized lab setting.
- Assist with a variety of procedures including LHC/RHC, congenital, vascular, and electrophysiology interventions.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes.
- Monitor patients' condition during procedures and post-procedure recovery.
- Adhere to unit policies, safety protocols, and maintain equipment functionality.
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Cath lab experience (RN, RCIS, or RCES preferred)
- ACLS certification required; PALS preferred
- Experience with EP procedures is a plus
- Ability to communicate effectively and work as part of a team
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Pediatric patient care experience
- Knowledge of electronic medical records systems (e.g., GEEMR, Mac Lab, Meditech)
- Previous experience in vascular or congenital procedural areas
