Key Responsibilities
- Provide specialized wound care according to patient needs
- Collaborate with healthcare team to develop and implement treatment plans
- Monitor and document patient progress and response to treatments
- Educate patients and families on wound management and care procedures
- Ensure compliance with healthcare protocols and standards
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Wound, Ostomy, and Continence Nursing (WOCN) certification or equivalent
- Prior wound care experience preferred
- Strong clinical assessment and documentation skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience in a hospital setting, particularly in acute or trauma care
- Familiarity with electronic health record systems, such as Epic
- Ability to adapt to varying patient consults and census levels
