Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct and indirect patient care in the IMC, PCU, or stepdown units following the nursing process.
- Assess patients upon admission, including medical history, vital signs, lab work, and diagnostic tests.
- Develop and implement care plans under physician supervision.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure quality patient outcomes.
- Document patient information accurately and thoroughly.
- Adhere to all hospital policies, including Uniform and safety standards.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing.
- Valid RN license issued by the State of New Hampshire.
- BLS certification; ACLS certification required.
- NIHSS certification recommended.
- Minimum of 3 years of nursing experience, specifically with PCU/Stepdown and telemetry.
- Ability to work every other weekend and during holidays as required.
- Excellent communication, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience in a telemetry or stepdown unit.
- Strong mathematical and critical thinking skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
