Key Responsibilities
• Provide nursing care in Labor and Delivery, Postpartum, and Baby-Friendly Hospital Initiative (BFHI) rooms, supporting mothers and babies throughout the delivery process
• Assist with an average of 40 deliveries and 6 C-sections per month, ensuring patient safety and comfort
• Cover as charge nurse as needed, including after completing charge nurse training
• Ensure adherence to all relevant protocols and standards for maternal and neonatal care
• Float to other departments as needed, including taking patient loads or performing task-oriented duties such as responding to call lights and phone calls

Required Qualifications
• Minimum of five (5) years of recent, relevant experience in labor and delivery nursing
• Current certification in American Heart Association BLS and ACLS OR ALSO, NRP, and AWHONN Advanced FHM (may substitute RNC-EFM for AWHONN FHM)
• Ability to work flexible hours, including holidays and weekends, with availability to cover different shifts as needed

Preferred Experience / Skills
• Prior experience covering as a charge nurse in a maternal-newborn setting
• Ability to adapt to floating between departments and handling diverse patient care tasks
• Strong knowledge of postpartum and neonatal care protocols
