Key Responsibilities
- Provide specialized nursing care in the GI and Pulmonary Interventional Lab.
- Assist with a variety of procedures including colonoscopies, EGDs, bronchoscopies, ERCP, EBUS, and more.
- Prepare and monitor patients before, during, and after procedures.
- Maintain a sterile environment and ensure patient safety throughout all interventions.
- Document procedures and patient responses accurately in compliance with hospital protocols.
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team to deliver optimal patient care.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Registered Nurse in a specialty setting.
- Valid BLS and ACLS certifications.
- Experience with a variety of GI and pulmonary procedures such as colonoscopies, EGD, bronchoscopy, ERCP, EBUS, and related interventions.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Familiarity with advanced GI and pulmonary procedures, including capsule endoscopy and variceal banding.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, interventional lab environment.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
