Registered Nurse - Operating Room

Full-time, Days, 3x12-hour shifts (Saturday, Sunday, plus one weekday), no on-call required
Key Responsibilities
- Provide specialized nursing care in the Operating Room within a Level I Trauma Center
- Assist in a busy, dynamic surgical environment covering all specialties, including Trauma, Transplant, Orthopedics, Neuro, ENT, GYN, and Robotics
- Scrub and circulate surgery procedures, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and patient care standards
- Collaborate with surgical teams and other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality patient outcomes
- Contribute to a magnet-designated, nurse-driven environment utilizing advanced surgical technology
- Support emergency preparedness and response during hurricane season as needed
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of perioperative nursing experience strongly preferred
- Active SC or Multi-State/Compact RN license
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Radiation Badge (to be provided by agency)
- Trauma Level I trauma experience preferred
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior scrub experience in surgical procedures
- Ability to float within scope to meet facility needs
- Flexibility to work up to one weekend shift per month and holidays as required
