Registered Nurse - Operating Room

Location: Weston, FL

Schedule / Job Type: Full-time, day shifts

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide specialized perioperative nursing care in the operating room setting for a variety of cases, including liver, heart, lung, and kidney transplants.
• Assist with organ placement and transplant procedures, ensuring compliance with hospital protocols and safety standards.
• Administer medications and monitor patients’ vitals before, during, and after surgeries.
• Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure efficient and safe operative workflows.
• Maintain accurate documentation of procedures, patient status, and interventions.
• Adhere to all hospital policies, including time-sensitive module completion and nicotine-free requirements.

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of direct experience in liver/transplant or general RN experience.
• Strong proficiency in transplant procedures, including organ implantation.
• Certified in ACLS and BLS (must be current at time of submission).
• Ability to obtain NIHSS certification prior to start.
• Experience with MISONIX/CUSA equipment.
• Must have valid RN licensure applicable in Florida.

Preferred Experience / Skills:

• Previous experience working in a teaching or level trauma facility.
• Familiarity with EPIC charting system.
• Ability to work flexible schedules, including weekends and on-call shifts.
