Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients on telemetry, Med/Surg, and float to multiple units as needed.
• Float to Medical/Surgical Telemetry (MS Tele) and other MS units ensuring seamless patient care.
• Follow all safety protocols and procedures, including proper documentation and medication administration.
• Work every other weekend and participate in bi-weekly orientations, with no block schedules.
• Cover 2 out of 4 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, Christmas Eve, New Year’s Day).
• Maintain compliance with all hospital and facility policies regarding patient care and safety.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Minimum of 2 years of recent hospital nursing experience, specifically in teaching hospital settings.
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications.
• Experience with Epic EMR system within the past 2 years.
• Prior travel nursing experience required.
• Must be comfortable floating between units as needed.
• Ability to work night shifts.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• PCCN or orthopedic certifications.
• Experience in telemetry nursing.
• Knowledge of EMR systems, particularly Epic.
• Strong communication and adaptability skills.

Additional Information

• Travel rate: $95/hour; local rate: $85/hour; within 50 miles or less.
• No block schedules; flexible workdays, Monday to Sunday.

• Reliable transportation is mandatory; personal or rental vehicle recommended, equipped with all-season or snow tires during winter months.
