Schedule / Job Type
- Full-time, night shift, 13-week travel assignment
Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to orthopedic patients on the Med/Surg unit during night shifts
- Monitor patient conditions, administer medications, and assist with procedures as needed
- Float to various inpatient units including Med/Surg, Telemetry, and Rehab, providing flexible support
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality patient care
- Follow unit policies, maintain EMR documentation, and uphold safety standards
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in the state of Colorado
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
- Minimum of 2 years of Telemetry experience
- Willingness to float between units and adapt to varied patient needs
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Chemo Certification (eligible for scheduling on Oncology units)
- Experience with large cardiac patient populations and complex medical cases
- Strong teamwork, flexibility, and compassionate patient care approach
