Key Responsibilities
• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the Labor and Delivery unit.
• Monitor maternal and fetal well-being throughout labor, delivery, and postpartum stages.
• Collaborate with physicians and multi-disciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Document patient care and progress accurately in electronic health records.
• Assist with labor support, delivery procedures, and postpartum care as needed.
• Respond promptly to patient needs and ensure a safe, supportive environment.
Required Qualifications
• Valid California RN license (pending licensing accepted).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification.
• At least one year of nursing experience in Labor and Delivery or related.
• On-call availability is required.
Preferred Experience / Skills
• Prior experience working in acute care hospital settings.
• Familiarity with Epic electronic charting system.
• Ability to adapt to flexible scheduling including block shifts at manager discretion.
