Registered Nurse - Labor and Delivery
Location: Issaquah, WA
Schedule / Job Type: Night shifts, full-time, permanent position

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in labor and delivery, including preterm labor and low-risk antepartum cases.
• Attend and assist with all delivery procedures, including high-risk deliveries and gynecological surgeries.
• Administer medications and treatments such as blood products, epidurals, PCA pumps, and wound vacs.
• Monitor and operate specialized equipment including epidural pumps, syringe pumps, and cooling/warming blankets.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure patient safety and comfort during labor, delivery, and postpartum care.
• Document patient care accurately and maintain compliance with hospital policies and procedures.

Required Qualifications:

• Active nursing license with proof of current practice.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in labor and delivery or related specialties.
• Ability to attend all types of deliveries, including high-risk cases.
• Knowledge of OB-GYN procedures, postpartum, and nursery care.
• Proficiency in operating specialized equipment such as epidural pumps and blood administration devices.

Preferred Experience / Skills:

• Experience working with NICU, postpartum, or couplet care units.
• Familiarity with staffing ratios of 1:1 to 3:1, adaptable to float assignments based on skill set.
• Prior experience in a fast-paced maternity environment.
