Key Responsibilities
- Provide professional nursing care to patients undergoing surgical procedures in the operating room.
- Collaborate with surgical team members, including surgeons, anesthesiologists, and technicians, to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes.
- Prepare and assemble surgical instruments and supplies, maintaining a sterile environment.
- Monitor patient vital signs and respond to any intraoperative changes or emergencies.
- Document patient care activities and surgical procedures accurately and thoroughly.
- Assist with preoperative and postoperative patient assessments as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in the state of Ohio.
- Strong knowledge of operating room protocols and surgical procedures.
- Ability to respond promptly during emergency situations.
- Excellent communication and team collaboration skills.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Previous experience in an operating room or surgical setting.
- BLS and ACLS certifications.
