Registered Nurse Labor and Delivery
Job Title
- Registered Nurse - Labor and Delivery

Schedule / Job Type
- Night shift, 13-week travel assignment, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the Labor and Delivery unit
- Monitor fetal and maternal health during labor and postpartum
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans
- Utilize advanced equipment and documentation systems to ensure accurate charting
- Educate patients and families on postpartum care and newborn procedures
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Texas or ability to obtain
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in Labor and Delivery or related OB unit
- Strong understanding of maternal and neonatal care protocols
- Ability to work night shift and adapt to a rotating schedule
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with Meditech or similar electronic documentation systems
- Certification in Electronic Fetal Monitoring (EFM)
- BLS and ACLS certifications
- Knowledge of current obstetric practices and procedures
