Job Title

• LVN / LPN - Medical Surgical (Travel)

• Night shifts, 13-week travel assignment

Key Responsibilities

• Provide patient care on a Medical Surgical unit with telemetry monitoring.
• Perform procedures such as IV placement, wound care, drain management, Foley insertion, and central line dressing changes.
• Conduct bedside shift reports, hourly safety rounding, and foster personal connections with patients.
• Maintain documentation using the Meditech Expanse system.
• Float to similar levels of care as needed, adhering to hospital policies.
• Collaborate with the team for optimal patient outcomes and safety.

Required Qualifications

• Valid LVN / LPN license.
• Minimum of 2 years of Med-Surg acute care experience.
• IV certification required.
• BLS certification required.
• Ability to perform procedures including IV placement, wound care, and telemetry monitoring.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with chest tube drain management, Jackson Pratt drains, and telemetry/EKG interpretation.
• Familiarity with hospital policies and procedures for acute care.
• Self-scheduling capability and strong teamwork skills.
