Key Responsibilities

• Provide speech and language therapy services to patients in a skilled nursing facility setting.
• Assess patients' communication and swallowing functions and develop personalized treatment plans.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient care.
• Document patient progress and maintain accurate clinical records.
• Follow all regulatory guidelines and facility protocols to ensure compliance.

Required Qualifications

• Valid State License as a Speech Language Pathologist.
• Completion of relevant educational requirements in speech-language pathology.
• Ability to pass a background check, including criminal, sex offender, and nationwide searches.
• Up-to-date COVID-19 testing results within 72 hours prior to start date.
• Certification in dementia training (8 hours).

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Previous experience working in a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF).
• Knowledge of federal and state regulations related to healthcare and therapy services.
• Strong communication and collaborative skills.
